Wacky Research #1
List three people that you'd like to learn more about:
1. Aristotle
2. Socrates
3. Galileo
Reflection: What prompted you to choose these three people?
:
What prompted me to choose Aristotle was because he was one of the great polymaths/scientists of his time and also worked with Socrates and Plato at the time in Greek philosophy. I chose Socrates because he also worked under Plato and with Aristotle at the time and who were all great scientists who helped discover many tings, it also says that Socrates left no actual writings but it was found that his student Plato had done a lot of his work in his writings so I would love to learn more about Socrates. And last I would like to learn about Galileo because we did do some research on him in previous years but we didn't learn a lot and also about Galileo, he was involved in Aristotle's teachings in school which his lessons dominated for the past 2,000 years so I wanted to become more in depth on his study's and how he became the scientist he is today.

Current Events Activity:
1. What methods does Abu Sarah use that allow him to talk to people on both sides of the issue? Abu Sarah talks calmly and asks questions to both sides to see how they are living and there take on what is going on around them.
2. Describe the conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians as described in the video.
The Israelis and Palestinians had conflict on the borders of the land and how they lived between the boarders and space around their territory.
3. What are you learning today?
We are learning how Abu Sarah helped both the Palestinians and Israelis talk about the borders of land between them both and how there daily life goes on.
4. Why is it important?
It is important because if he didn't do this the fighting would still be going on and they would not have been any closer to finding a solution.
